HyBrayn is a European AI consultancy with its registered office and management in Varna, Bulgaria (EU). The company was founded in 2025 by two German entrepreneurs: Alexander Vallon and Jonas Lachowitzer. Today there are four of us — Moritz Paschold joined in engineering, Alessio Marini in marketing and sales. For web, iOS and Android development we work with a partner team in Indonesia: family, a team we have worked with for years, and with no access to client data or client systems. Advisory and support are delivered in German and English; cooperation is governed by EU law and the GDPR.
There is a simple reason the company sits in Varna: Alexander lives here. Legally, that changes nothing for you. Bulgaria is an EU member state and has been part of the euro area since 1 January 2026; the GDPR applies directly, exactly as it does in Germany. Our legal form, the OOD, is the Bulgarian counterpart to the German GmbH — a limited liability company in which shareholders are liable only up to their capital contribution. So you work with an EU company, in German, under European law, with direct access to the founders.
Alexander Vallon
CEO & Strategy
B.A./M.A. in Business. Over 8 years of experience in performance marketing, social media strategy, and influencer marketing. Alexander has led campaigns for Fraport AG (Frankfurt Airport) and Schott Ceran, and collaborated with over 200 well-known brands as a strategic partner. At HyBrayn he heads strategy, marketing and sales, combining his marketing and business expertise with a passion for programming and business automation.
Jonas Lachowitzer
CTO & Technology
M.Sc. in Computer Science from KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology). Over 7 years of hands-on AI and machine learning experience. Previously Research & Solutions Engineer at Disy Informationssysteme GmbH, where he spent nearly 5 years building intelligent data systems. Jonas has deep expertise in Python, TypeScript, ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), and his master's thesis focused on AI-powered image segmentation. At HyBrayn, he architects and builds the AI systems that power our clients' automation.
Moritz Paschold
Engineering
An experienced developer with a long run of delivered projects and a focus on app development. At HyBrayn he builds the systems that go live at our clients, together with Jonas.
Alessio Marini
Marketing & Sales
Strengthens marketing and sales, working closely with Alexander. He approaches tasks in a notably structured way and cares about clean, traceable work.
